I am a lifelong dog lover with 3 of my own dogs at home.
I’ve worked tirelessly for the last 7 years in the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs.
I’m a Trustee of Phoenix Rehoming, Registered Charity 1175478 and I continue to rescue, foster and rehabilitate dogs from the U.K. and overseas.
Phoenix Rehoming won U.K. Rescue Of The Year 2021 at the Animal Star Awards.
During that time I have undergone modern and science based learning in dog training, behaviour and care. I participate in continuous professional development.

Working with rescue dogs has given me a unique insight into their behaviour, emotions and the behavioural issues they can display.

Much of my work has been with dogs rescued from overseas. Romanian and other overseas rescue dogs can present very unique behavioural challenges both inside and outside the home.
I have rehabilitated more than 400 rescue dogs in my own home. Some with very complex needs, often fear based.
